National Ski Stadium/Ski jumps

Many champions have been here

The stadium has hosted functions such as the Ski World Cup, the Swedish Rally, the Swedish Pony Championship, the Caravan Club’s national meeting and Classic Car shows. Many functions return year after year.

The National Ski Stadium was built in 1973 and was renovated in preparation for the 1993 World Championships.

Ski jumps

The ski jumps at Lugnet were built in 1973. The big hill (K115) has a tower height of 52 metres, which is the highest vantage point in Dalarna (the highest point of its tower structure is 303 m above sea level). The record jump is 130.5 m (Matti Hautamäki) on the big hill. The little hill (K 90 tower height 22 m) is also plastic-coated for summer jumping. The braking zone and spectator area can be used for concerts and plays in the summer. The grandstands can seat approximately 20,000 spectators.
