Heated open-air swimming pools

There are outdoor swimming pools at Lugnet, Slätta and Vika. The pools are open from the middle of May until the end of August.

Dogs at public bathing places

Dogs must be kept on leads at bathing places* and dogs are not allowed into the water at the public bathing places* listed above.

Dog bathing place

Dogs and their owners are welcome at the special dog bathing place at Stångtjärn, 200 m beyond the Stångtjärnsstugan, near the end of the lake. All dog owners who want to swim with their dogs should use this bathing place.

*) The code of conduct only applies to the publicly maintained bathing places. This means that dogs are allowed in the water at all other bathing places. Remember to show consideration for other people. There is room for everyone in Falu municipality!
